Indoor hops farm run by EKONOKE
BREWER
If you are such a brewer, we will set up a large-scale indoor farm next door to supply you with local top-quality hops year-round for your all-natural beers, while using your wastewater and excess CO₂ in the process.
Don’t just take our word for it.
Taste it.
An Indian Pale Ale has been the first commercial beer to use Ekonoke’s hops. Try it at La Tita Rivera when you are next in Madrid, Coruña or Vigo, in Spain. Many more are coming.
Together with our partner Cosecha de Galicia, the agricultural innovation powerhouse of Hijos de Rivera, brewers of the Spanish beer brand Estrella Galicia, we are operating a 1,200 sq meter pilot indoor farm in the north-west Spanish region to help us prove that this is feasible at scale.

Ekonoke has taken part in Cohort 4 (2022-23) of AB InBev’s 100+ Accelerator program, receiving support from both AB InBev and Siemens to ensure that we have the best possible quality and solid industrial technology to help us scale commercially.
Yields per hectare are expected to reach 80,000 kg / year, depending on the cultivar grown, but irrespective of location. Our first commercial scale farm will be in Galicia, expected to start operations in Q4 2024.
This is what our clients are saying

“Partnering with Ekonoke is not only a question of guaranteeing supply of one of our key ingredients. It is a way for us to further commit with sustainability and innovation, both of them strong pillars of what Hijos de Rivera stands for.”

“Having closely followed your progress as part of the most recent 100+ Accelerator cohort, we have been genuinely impressed by the innovative approach and potential impact your proprietary knowledge and methods possess to provide climate resilience to hops, a key ingredient in our all-natural beers.”
